Congratulations!
We'd like to say "good job" to a number of riders and their horses.
-Tisha Hanley and her horse Dillon did a very nice job all year, finishing high in several categories within the All Ohio Show Horse Organization (AOSHO). In fact, they ended up first in $100 Trail and Green Trail. We're very proud of that pair!
- Misty Czigans, Kelsey Sterling, and Caitlin Smith all did very well at the Muskingum County Fair. They each brought home trophies and ribbons. At the Ohio State Fair, Misty won her Pleasure Driving class for the second straight year. Super job and congratulations girls!
-Alyssa Crock was selected as the Muskingum County Fair's Equine Queen and she did a wonderful job. A better selection couldn't have been made!
Good Luck Sarah & Cara
We'd like to wish the very best of luck to two girls who have worked with us for a while. Cara Vance left in August. She's due to have her baby in January. Sarah Cook will be returning to Ohio State this fall. She is finishing an Equine Internship program with us, in addition to her regular barn duties. Good luck and we'll miss you both!
Odds & Ends
-It's been almost 3 1/2 years since we've raised our training rates, but we'll need to make a modest increase effective October 1st. The new rates can be found on the "Fee Schedule" page above. These new rates will not apply to current commitments at this time. There is no increase in the cost of lessons. -Molly Daniel is looking for a nice English adult show saddle, reasonably priced. If you have one for sale, please call Molly at (740)327-5811.
-If you're thinking of showing horses next year and/or improving your riding skills, now is the time tosign up for riding lessons. We have some very experienced show horses to learn on. A couple of these horses may be available for lease next year. Call Rich if you'd like more information.
-Sandy Sterling has decided to put Riley up for sale. More information is available on the "Horses for sale" page above. Riley is a special horse. He's definetly worth looking into!
