The Rich Wasiniak Scholarship

Rich believed in the magic of young riders.  He carefully nurtured their talents and abilities, supported them through trying times and rejoiced with their success.  Because of his commitment to youth, Rich’s family has established a scholarship fund to be awarded to an equine 4-H youth graduating from a  Muskingum county high school and planning to enter college in the fall.  Scholarship applications must be received by August 5, 2011. The award amount will be $500.00 and announced during the week of the Muskingum County Fair. The scholarship will be awarded on an annual basis. 

To apply for the scholarship:

Interested youth should be able to compose a one page description about his/her 4- H career, high school activities, and planned focus in college.  Also, please describe how you became interested in horses, your experiences and achievements with horses and any other information that expresses who you are as an individual and how horses have been a part of your life.  Please address how horses have impacted your life and helped shape your goals.  Please include what you have learned about caring for and showing horses which will carry over into your life as an adult.

                Your full name

                Your date of birth

                Your home address

                Your phone number

                Your email address

                Name of high school

                Copy of college acceptance letter
